Pulse — a European funding edition, written overnight.
Every morning an agent produces a lede, a set of articles, the number of the day and a podcast on European funding. Its only knowledge of Europe is this MCP — no scraper, no private archive, no human desk. If the tools were thin, the paper would be empty; you can check yesterday's edition against the sources it cites.
It is also the reference build for the policy signal desk pattern: same chain, different output format.

Funding Compass EU — an entire consultant workspace on the same nine tools.
Where Pulse shows the tools can carry a daily publication, Funding Compass shows they can carry a product. It runs client intake, opportunity scans, a single-call evaluator, partner and precedent discovery from CORDIS, a regional view over European funding, and viability scoring — all composed from MCP calls.
What it did not build is the interesting part: no portal crawlers, no CORDIS import, no deduplication, no normalisation of budgets and deadlines across programmes. Its own database holds clients, projects and outcomes. Everything European comes from the MCP, keyed on canonical references so the local cache can never drift from the source.
Intake and scan
A client profile goes in; a ranked shortlist of calls comes back, each with a canonical reference.
